Ohio Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Practice Exam

A CCW (carrying a concealed weapon) license in Ohio requires completion of a firearms training course. This is because it is important for applicants to have the necessary knowledge and skills in handling a firearm safely and legally. A college degree is not required as it is not directly related to firearm training. A recommendation letter from a law enforcement officer is also not required as it is not a reflection of an individual's ability to safely carry a firearm. Previous military service may provide some experience with firearms, but it is not a substitute for the required firearms training course.
